This site collects no personal data. There is no sign-up, no account and no email field. Nothing on the site asks who you are, and nothing records it. The only way we would end up with your address is if you decide to write to us.
The interest button
The only thing you can send us is a button press, and all it does is add one to a number. We store a date and a running count. There is no email address, no name, no IP address, no cookie and no identifier of any kind attached to it, so there is no way for us — or anyone else — to work out that a particular click was yours.
A bare tally is not personal data, which is the point: we wanted to know whether anyone wants this before asking anybody to hand over their details.
Your hand histories
This is the part worth being precise about. The Pokerframe analyser runs entirely on your own computer and reads hand history files your poker client has already written to your own disk. Everything it produces — your statistics, your results, your opponents, your notes — is stored in a database on that machine.
None of it is ever uploaded. There is no account, no sync and no server copy. We could not see your hands if we wanted to.
Cookies
We set none. Our network provider, Cloudflare, may set a single strictly-necessary security
cookie (__cf_bm) that distinguishes human visitors from bots. It carries no
advertising or analytics identifier and is not used to profile anyone. Because it is
strictly necessary to deliver the site it needs no consent — which is why you are not
looking at a cookie banner.
Analytics and tracking
None. No Google Analytics, no pixels, no session recording, no fingerprinting, no advertising networks, no third-party scripts. This page loads no resources from any other domain at all — you can check that in your browser's network tab.
Server logs
Our own application writes no access logs and records no IP addresses. Cloudflare, which serves this site, processes visitors' IP addresses and request metadata to route traffic and block attacks, and keeps its own short-lived logs under its retention policy. That is the only processing of anything resembling personal data connected with this site, and it exists to keep the site up rather than to learn anything about you.
If you email us
There is an address on the site so that anyone with a question or an opinion has somewhere to put it. If you use it, we obviously end up holding your email address and whatever you chose to write — there is no way round that, and it is the ordinary consequence of sending someone a message rather than anything the site did to you.
We use it to reply and nothing else. It does not go on a mailing list, it is not added to any waitlist, and it is not passed to anyone. Ask us to delete the correspondence and we will.

When this will change
Pokerframe is pre-release and not generally available. If we later add a waitlist, accounts or paid subscriptions, we will have to collect personal data — and before that happens this page will be replaced with a full privacy policy naming the operator, the legal basis for each thing collected, retention periods and how to exercise your rights. Nothing will be collected under this version of the page.
